Who We Are
Dana began with a simple belief: the ghee on your table should be as pure as the ghee your grand parents knew. Crafted in the UAE, every jar is made with care, patience and respect for tradition, for the kitchens, prayers and gatherings that bring families together.
Meet the Founder
Some of my earliest memories are of the kitchen: the warm, nutty smell of ghee slowly cooking, a spoonful stirred into rice, a lamp glowing during prayers. In our home, ghee was more than an ingredient. It was part of how we celebrated, how we cared for each other and how we gathered around the table.
As life moved forward, I noticed how hard it had become to find ghee that tasted the way I remembered. Too often, quality felt like an afterthought. Dana was born from a simple wish: to bring back ghee that families could trust completely, made with patience, honesty and respect for tradition.
Building Dana here in the UAE has been especially meaningful. This country is a home for so many cultures, each with its own recipes, rituals and memories tied to food. Dana Gold, Dana Silver and Swaha were each created with those families in mind, for the everyday meal, the festive feast and the quiet moment of prayer.
